chess for accounting purposes. Bob
presented Motion 0142 (seconded
by Gosselin) to establish a Prison Chess Fund, based on a charge of $4. per
year for each prison chess subscription (Chess Horizons), and to rescind Motion

2001. At the Board’s request the TLA
was changed to include half-point byes and to allow unrated players to play in
any section but to be ineligible for first prize, except in the Open
section.
There was an informal vote on whether the bylaws shouild be
amended so that the parents of Junior members should vote for them. The majority felt that the bylaws should not
be changed, i.e. Juniors should be treated the same as adults for voting
purposes.

Monday, February 12, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Senior Center.
