Rounds Time: 1st round @ 9:30 am, others ASAP. BE CAREFUL ABOUT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME.
Byes: No half point byes.
Prize Info: Trophies for the top three players in each section. Medals for players scoring at least three points who don’t win a trophy.

  • This is an Invitational Only event for all sections.
  • Invitee list, with alternates, is posted at MACA Chess News
  • Please send email to stevefrymer@gmail.com by March 3rd to confirm acceptance.
  • The winner of the High School section will represent Massachusetts at the Denker Tournament of High School Champions.
  • The top player in the Age 14 & Under section in grades K-8 will represent Massachusetts at the Barber Tournament of K-8 Champions.
  • All players must be Massachusetts residents or attend school in Massachusetts.
