  • The BCCC lost to its Round 5 opponent, Galeria de Xadrez Borba Gato, 9-3, in a 6-board match played on June 27.
  • The opponents were from Sao Paulo, Brazil. They had two national masters on their team.
  • The BCCC's 3 points came from Tom Zuppa (a draw on Board 1), Mike Commisso (2 wins on Board 4),and Ritvik Pulya (a draw on Board 5).
  • The BCCC team is now in 29th place in a field of 55 teams.
