- Tournament will Start ON-TIME at 10:00 AM - Late Entries will receive 1/2 pt. bye
- This is Both a Scholastic Multi-State INDIVIDUAL & TEAM Championship. OPEN TO STUDENTS FROM RI, MA, CT, & EVERY STATE
- Team Competition: Each school's team score is calculated by adding points from the top 4 players on that team. Minimum of 3 players for a team. Maximum limit is 7 players per team. Teams with 8-10+ players or more must register two teams with 4-7 on each
- Players must be from the same school: Teams can have three or more players. Please list your school on entry form. Students must play in grade section
- Players will enjoy this beautiful college venue with multiple skittles rooms provided. Plenty or parking. College cafeteria will be open for lunch
- ENTRY FEE DISCOUNT: Schools with 4 OR MORE PLAYERS OR 2 OR MORE SIBLINGS are Eligible for a -$5 per person "ENTRY FEE DISCOUNT."
- 1st TIME TOURNAMENT DISCOUNT: If this is your 1st Tournament we will pay for your $20 USCF membership included with your $30 Entry Fee. Must email organizer
- Chess Sets/Clocks will be provided, However, please bring a clock if you have one.

- Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
- MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
