Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • FREE (UNRATED) Fun Chess Games – New members are always welcome, Please Join Us!
  • USCF BLITZ RATED GAMES WEEK 5 = If 5 Thursdays in Month = BLITZ GAMES WEEK 5
  • Regular Time Control for Weeks 1,2,3,4 each month = G/45;d10, Week 5 blitz = G/5;d2
  • Rated Weekly Games will start @ 7:00 PM
  • Unrated Show up anytime to play chess, and stay as short or long as you like. Spectators can come to watch
  • USCF Rated section must have USCF Membership – Join: https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess
  • Chess sets and clocks provided
  • The Pub on Park connected to area, full menu and beverages available
  • Duckpin Bowling & pool tables available
  • Cranston Club Organized & Directed by the Ocean State Chess Association

  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
