  • "Chess Chat" hosts George Mirijanian and DaveCouture will do a special program about the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest,
  • with results of both the Open and Women's Olympiads, videos,photos,etc.
  • Presented with analysis will be Carissa's win against women's world champion Anna Ushenina from the Olympiad.
  • IM Carissa Yip won at age 10 the 2014 Wachusett Chess Club Championship at Fitchburg State University.
  • She won tha club chamipionship with a perfect score of 7-0.
  • She is currently leading the U.S. Women's Championship with a score of 8-1 after Monday, October 21. .
  • What a phenomenal performance by Carissa!
  • Carissa is the champion of the two oldest chess clubs in Massachusetts:
  • Boylston Chess Club in Boston - champion in 2016
  • Wachusett Chess Club in Fitchburg - champion at age 10 in 2014
