Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • BEAUTIFUL NEW LARGE PLAYING SITE In ASHLAND MA
  • Plenty of parking for over 300 cars. WiFi Snacks and drinks available on site for purchase.
  • Plenty of Restaurants nearby
  • Everyone is welcome. GMs play free. Eugene Perelshtyne will be playing
  • DGT Board for top 6 games played in comfortable private room.
  • Entry fee of $60 is good until Dec 25 . After that goes to $65 until day before.
  • Then $75 onsite
  • Blitz Tourny after starting about 8:15 pm 6 round robin
  • No school the next day On site registration ends 9:30 am.

  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
