Time Control: NM Atul Kannan will show how piece values shift and how to use that to your advantage. Besides rules of thumb, the session will feature illustrative games, including between Google's Alpha Zero & Stockfish.
Rounds Time: Seminar will be interactive and questions are welcome.

  • NM Atul Kannan has been playing and teaching chess for over 15 years. He's run chess camps and coached
  • children and adults in addition to presenting several lectures & seminars. He's currently a student at
  • Harvard Business School and a BCF Board member.
