* 1st Place – $75 Gift Certificate, Le Central French Café (Bristol)
* 2nd Place – $50 Gift Certificate, The Beehive Café by the waterfront (Bristol)
* 3rd Place – $25 Gift Certificate, Plant City Restaurant (Barrington)
INTERMEDIATE / NOVICE (UNRATED)

Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • Please Register Early, Limited Space 30-32 players. ALL PLAYERS MUST register
  • Tournament is Free, please register early, and contact us if you need to cancel so others can play
  • Both Sections of the Tournament are Unrated. No USCF membership required
  • Tournament will be held in the Library Upstairs Conference Room
  • Round 1 will start at 10:00 AM, will run continuous.
  • Chess sets will be provided, please bring a clock if you have one

  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
