Registration Information
Entry Fee: $25, $20 for BCF members; $5 more if not registering online in advance.
Registration - Onsite: 9:00 am - 9:15 am. Online registration CLOSES at 7:00 am.
Membership Requirement: A current USCF membership is required for all four sections.
Sections Information
Tournament Sections: Championship Trophies for 1st/2nd each Rating section, medal for 3rd
Under 1000 Trophies for 1st/2nd each Rating section, medal for 3rd
Under 500 Trophies for 1st/2nd each Rating section, medal for 3rd
Tournament Rules and Other Information
  • Players must be rated between 800 and 2000 to play in the Championship section.
  • Players must be under the age of 18 at the time of play.

  • MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
