  • "Chess Chat" hosts George Mirijanian and Dave Couture will present complete results of the 2024 U.S. Championships.
  • Their special guest, remotely from MIT in Cambridge, will be IM Carissa Yip.
  • Carissa will present her Round 4 win against 8-time U.S. women's champion GM Irina Krush.
  • This was Carissa's third U.S. Women's Championship victory.
  • She won in 2021, 2023, and now again in 2024.
  • In 2014 she was champion of the Wachusett Chess Club at Fitchburg State University when she was 10 years old.
  • She was champion of the Boylston Chess Club in 2016.
  • She is now the highest-rated female player in the United States.
