Entry Fee: $30, $40 on site.
Registration - Onsite: Onsite registration: 9:00-9:30am, no registration after 9:30am. Online registration closes 4/12 11:59pm. If paying via checks, need to be mailed by 4/5

Tournament Rules and Other Information
Please email your child's USCF id, the section your child is playing in, as well as attachment of proof of payment to gjin@bu.edu after you make payment. Your child will not be registered if you don't do this. Please email by 4/11 11:59pm.
• Sections may be merged if there isn't enough people signed up for a particular section
• Please email gjin@bu.edu if your child intends to receive a bye for any of the four rounds. Make sure to include your child's full name, USCF ID, as well as round number for the byes. Maximum two half-point byes are allowed.
• Players should bring their own clock and chess set. Chess notations are required. Notation score sheets and writing utensils will be provided.
• Players should bring their own lunch. Light snacks will be provided.
Parking: there is ample parking available by the St Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral.
Entrance to the building: please proceed to the door located by the Church parking lot to enter the building.
• Unrated players will be able to sign up for any sections, including the Open
• Lineup is determined by March 2025 ratings. The TD may assign ratings to unrated players.
  • MACA provides tournament listing for all as a service to the chess community. For question, comments, or dispute regarding events that are not organized by MACA, please contact the tournament organizer directly.
  • Remember that each player is responsible for bringing and setting up their clock. Please refer to the Metrowest Chess Club Digital Clock Guide for instructions on how to set digital clocks.
  • MACA does not recommend but allows US Chess approved electronic scorekeeping devices. Please note that some national tournaments held by US Chess ban electronic scorekeeping, so be sure to know how to keep score without aid of electronics.
