Who we are: Chess for charity summer workshop is organized by Kerry, a freshman in Acton Boxbrough Reginal Highschool. We started this workshop because we want to inspire elementry school kids through chess and help charity at the same time. As a result, we are donating all of our preceeds from this workshop to SHH (Students Helping Honduras), a non-profit organization building schools in underserved communities in Honduras. 

 

Time: July 8th Monday ~ July 11th Thursday from 2:00 pm ~ 4:15 pm every day

Cost: 90$

 

Requirements for participants:

1. Have an unr ~ 1000 USCF rating (Be a beginner ~ intermediate chess player)

2. Currently be in 1st ~ 5th grade
