Labor Day 2016 found me in Portland, Oregon, of all places, playing in the Oregon Open. It was a long trip but well worth it as I ended up clear first with 5.5/6, winning $2,000. I then went up the coast to Seattle to see what was left of my childhood homes and schools on Mercer Island, right next to Seattle; I lived there to the 5th grade. The answer is not much.
