Chess Horizons is the award winning magazine of the Massachusetts Chess Association. It contains local chess news, product reviews, instructional material, annotated and unannotated games, announcements of local tournaments, contact information for local clubs, and award winning articles and photos of local players.

The Massachusetts Chess Association Executive Board has voted to discontinue publication of Chess Horizons. There will be one 48 page double issue after the publication of the Spring 2019 issue.
