I work very well with kids of all ages in a private lesson setting. Given the current situation, I have adjusted to teaching my students online with a combination of Zoom and
chess.com over the past half year or so.
In addition to coaching, I am a USCF expert with over 10 years of experience playing in tournaments at the club, state, and national level. My peak rating is 2108 USCF. My individual achievements include placing 2nd at the 2015 national K-12 Grade Championship, tying for 3rd at the 2017 & 2018 Spiegel Cups, and winning the Hurvitz Cup State Team Championship in 2019 as captain and top board for Lincoln-Sudbury. Currently, I am studying economics and computer science at Vanderbilt University.
