My name is Joaquin Carlson and I am currently studying psychology at Rutgers University. I have been one of the top players in my age group for the last few years and have played in multiple Spiegel Cup championships, won top Massachusetts team in the 2022 US amateur East, and finished in a tie for second place in the 2021 Massachusetts Chess Championship with a Grandmaster. My peak rating is 2150 USCF. 

I have experience with coaching and am happy to teach students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to much more experienced players.
