FREE Workshop with NM Ryan Young on 'How to improve your chess' 


Location: 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02203    [ Get Direction ]

  This summer JP Chess are offering four FREE chess workshops and a FREE chess tournament in the Civic Pavilion, at Boston's City Hall Plaza. The workshops are funded by a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture.  A US Chess Federation titled player (GM, WGM or NM) will guide you at each workshop. Workshops are suitable for ages 10 and up, ratings 800-1400. The tournament on August 11 is open to all, regardless of rating, and will have both rated and unrated sections.

Workshop Details, Dates & Times

Each workshop starts on a Sunday at 2pm and lasts 1 to 1.5 hours followed by casual chess until 5pm.
